This is my wife’s Grandfather, Master Sergeant Walt Krueger. He was decorated with a Bronze Star in Korea and got promoted to Master Sergeant in 5 years. Everything else is unknown as he never spoke about it (except once) and many military records were destroyed by fire at the VA’s record center in St. Louis in the 70s.

It is always my honor to be the Historian for CWO2 James W Randolph Detachment 1465. Today however, it carries a lot more meaning. I hope this post does justice to those that served and sacrificed in Korea.
